This scholarship was established in 1986 to honor Mary Alice Lindberg who was serving as President at the time of her death.

This scholarship is awarded to a High School Senior or Mature Woman of Madison County who is studying or will study at an accredited institute in the Madison County area.

The purpose is to help the recipient needing further education. It will enable the woman to provide a better life for herself, her family, and to contribute to the community.
